So fun that Annie came to town! Very jealous, and wish that Jake and I were there too.
I also had an exciting adventure recently to Louisiana for a co-workers weeding. The highlight was that Delta managed to lose my carryon luggage in the planes "massive" cargo hold. I was without clothes for the whole weekend. I huge bummer, especially since you know I planned my outfit weeks in advance. All that brainpower for nothing. Just like the movie Sweetest Thing, I ended up at a "boutique" called Shabby Chic where I had to purchase a new outfit. Shoes came by way of JC Penny. It was either that or Wal-Mart.
FANTASTICO! Was beginning to wonder if the glacier team made it to Buenos Aires (FYI, I googled your Argentine airline for status of strike-found that they've had a stike every 9-10 months for last 6-7 years, but could not find 2010 info-feared the worst, that you were back on the bus to BA). Annie, I'm thrilled for you-you both look beautiful. Meal looks gorgeous, too. Have a FUNtastic time together...keep the beer pong to a minimum! Corrie, hope your things turn up.
Hello to all! What a wonderful treat for all of you to have Annie there. I was beginning to worry, too, Maureen, because we hadn't seen/heard from them for two entire days!
The beer pong looked like fun but I bet you never stopped at 2 when you were in college, Micah. I have your funnel apparatus in the basement that must have contributed to a beer game a time or two.
The glaciers must have been amazing. You have seen so many geological formations since you left NYC. That has to be quite a change from skyscrapers and cement.
Update: Len came home from the auction with flying lesson in a single engine Cessna. Luckily for me, they don't have room.
Today, Mendoza...you;ll have to tell us about that.
Mullets still make appearances in Nebraska; how's that for a stereotype? Hard to believe, right?
